Grounds
The Grims Dyke Hotel is set in 40 acres of beautiful woodland grounds and stunning formal gardens. There is a truly unique and peaceful atmosphere which provides a relaxing oasis so close to the bustle of London. The gardens have a rich history initiated by Victorian artist Frederick Goodall and then extended and enhanced by Sir William and Lady Gilbert. Today the gardens are still carefully maintained with the addition of the hotel vegetable garden. Come and enjoy the atmosphere for yourself or learn more on one of our tours.
From films to photo-shoots and television shows, the Gothic influenced Victorian architecture of the hotel and the quintessentially English country house interior has made it a popular location for many commerical filming operations.
