Harrow Whisky Festival: 15th January – 16th January 2016
Set in the stunning location of Grim’s Dyke hotel, Harrow Whisky Festival features product from over 40 distilleries – making it a must-do event for every whisky lover!
Grim’s Dyke hotel contributes so much more than a stunning setting for this festival though, it also has a well-stocked whisky bar, one that gets significantly boosted, when there’s a whisky tasting or festival event coming up. If you’re looking to satisfy your retail needs, we also have the amazing ‘Hard To Find Whiskey’ company to help you satisfy those needs AND a dedicated (and must experience!) Irish whisky table too.
With various talks and the amazing Scottish and Irish-themed music (proudly bought to us via Gerry Molumby), you’ll be certain to want to stay as long as you can, so we’ve got you covered – with our Whisky Residential.
Our Whisky Residential means you can experience the tastings and a 5-course distiller banquet, with tables hosted by distillers, scouts and experts. Or why not opt for a Dream Ticket and really make the most of the festival? Not only will you get the Friday Banquet and tasting sessions, you’ll have access to the first Saturday tasting session and a special whisky breakfast/brunch on Saturday morning, along with entry to all talks.
The Harrow Whisky Festival talks consist of quality whisky talks and slides from specialists, including scouts, distillers, bloggers and magazine writers. Held in the Drawing Room, there will also be more generalised talks giving you an insight into touring the scenic areas of Scotland, the islands, new distilleries, and the wildlife.
Of course, we couldn’t celebrate whisky without mentioning the iconic kilt! Not only will some of the speakers be wearing Highland dress, if you’re staying overnight and fancy trying out a kilt, we’ll have various sizes available for you – even if it’s just long enough to have your photo taken!
Ticket options for the Harrow Whisky Festival at Grim’s Dyke, start at only £14, with combined room and session tastings from only £49 (extra £30 for sole occupancy). You can find more information, along with timings and prices, over on the Harrow Whisky Festival website.
